About Blamey Saunders hears
Accessible hearing care for even more Australians
Peter Blamey and Elaine Saunders were pioneers at heart. Together in Melbourne, they forged new technology combined with a new clinical model designed to work in partnership with clients. From the scientifically qualified self-assessing speech perception test, to pioneering remote audiological care (we call it Tele-audiology), everyone can choose their journey to better hearing health – regardless of their location.
Now in 2021, Blamey Saunders hears is aspiring to a new level of partnership.
By joining forces and blending with our sister company Connect Hearing we can truly deliver on our promise of giving everyone easy access to the highest quality audiological care and hearing technology.
The national network and commitment to excellence of Connect Hearing gives us the opportunity to reach so many more Australians. We will bring our pioneering spirit, history of innovation and smarts. Michelle Lawson, who has led Blamey Saunders since 2017 continues to forge this joint direction, ensuring we can be where our clients want us to be.
We’ve always believed accessibility is key – from how you get care and advice through to buying hearing aids and making ongoing adjustments – over the phone, online or in person, whatever works best for you. The best audiological care, hearing aids and now hearing protection should always be within easy reach. And now as part of Connect Hearing, we will continue to grow and stand by this purpose.
A message from our Managing Director, Michelle Lawson.

Our clinicians volunteer to fit your donated hearing aids on people who are financially disadvantaged and ineligible for Government funding. This partnership is something we are extremely proud of, and without you couldn’t happen – SO THANK YOU!
